Shelby & David

We started with an overcast, windy day.  After a long drive on many many back roads, we end up at Sunny D Farms in Williamson Georgia.  If you know us at all, you know that an old barn makes our hearts skip a beat... and thats the first thing we saw once we pulled in.

Checkered table cloths, kerosene lamps, random printed pictures scattered around..... it was all just perfect for our bride Shelby.

As it got closer to ceremony time, the clouds cleared, and the sun came out.  Although we kept the wind, and it seemed to grab Shelbys veil perfectly all day for our photos~

A wonderful reception followed and family and friends enjoyed BBQ and an assortment of cakes and pies and danced into the night.

Night to Shine -Sponsored by the Tim Tebow foundation

Oh my, where to begin... I heard it said best that night at the event, this started as a night to bless the guests invited to this event, but you come as a volunteer, and leave thanking God that He actually blessed YOU through this event.  It was hosted by New Providence Baptist Church in Smarr, Ga.  Celebrations by Alexa provided the delicious food, Kroger provided the cake, Anchor of Hope Foundation did the respite room, Troop 51 set up the shoe shine station, Southern Florals and Drapes provided some of the beautiful decorations, the beautiful flowers were provided by Allison Lucas and Joyce Freeman and DKH Entertainment had them dancing all night long.  (Click on the photos to see more!)

From rolling out the red carpet, to crowning all of the guests, the entire night left all of the guests feeling like they were on top of the world.   (Click on the photos to see more!)

Guests and their buddy danced the night away, they then had a delicious meal provided by Celebrations by Alexa.  They also had a shoe shine station as well as a karaoke room.  Who wouldn't have a great time?!   (Click on the photos to see more!)

This is my second year photographing this event.  I hope to be there every year that it is hosted in Macon.

Beautiful Garden Wedding at Tryphenas

Please click HERE to see more images available from this wedding.

What a beautiful day it was at Tryphenas.  The air was crisp and cool and we had a cool breeze all day.  Just enough to catch her veil just right.  The Venue at Tryphena's Garden is so beautiful (http://www.tryphenasgarden.com/) The gorgeous flowers were provided by Cherlyn Baggarley at The Flower Shop (theflowershop08@yahoo.com).  (PS click on the right of image below to see more)

It was a sweet ceremony with Crystals nephew driving a tiny police car down the isle, and the best man Matt Rogers provided a nice song for her to be escorted down the isle by her father to.  (www.mattrogerscountry.com)

((PS click on the right of image below to see more images)

And at the reception, one of the sweetest Daddy/ Daughter dances I've ever seen.  Click on the right of image below to see what I'm talking about.)  Again Matt Rogers provided an amazing song for a sweet first dance and they all danced the night away.  The cake was created by the brides sister.  (Cakes by Jackie.)  It was a pretty wonderful wedding day, with great people and at a gorgeous venue.  I hope these images do it just a bit of justice and that they smile every time they look through them.

Oh my.  Be still my heart.  This entire wedding was overflowing with love and happiness from everyone I met that day.  So many sentimental touches.  So many personal touches in the choice of decor, from the peanuts and cotton sprigs that were taken from her Daddy and new hubbys fields, to the blue heart that was cut from her Daddy's t shirt and sewn into the underskirt of her gown.  Click the image below to see more beautiful details.

The ceremony was so touching.  Her Dad even hugged the groom as the preacher prayed for them before he asked who gives her to this man.  Click the below image to see more from the ceremony.

I have a feeling that in a few years, this particular couple will be saying .... "And I thought I loved you then."

Thank you Monica & Cole for allowing us to be a part of such a wonderful day!

The ocean is calling and I must go!

This destination wedding was pretty darn near perfect in our opinion.  Beautiful colors, thoughtful details, sentimental touches, gorgeous overcast skies and a break through sunset (which is rare in north west Fl.)  I really don't think I would have changed a single thing even if I could have written it out like a story book.

This couple and their entourage of family and friends rented a beach house and all enjoyed the festivities together for a few days.  How wonderful, to be with those closest to you and truly celebrate your friends happiness!

“With sandy toes & salty kisses, they became Mr. & Mrs.”

Click the above pic for more!  (wink* wink*)  The skies dropped a few sprinkles just as the ceremony started.  That just brought the gorgeous skies.  Everyone was all smiles, all day and on through the night!
